How do we obtain a Florida Marriage License?
You can get your marriage license in person from the Clerk of Court by going to www.pinellasclerk.org or, if you are out of state, you can obtain your Florida marriage license by mail at www.floridamarriagelicensebymail.com
*NOTE: Bride & Groom are responsible for producing a marriage license prior to the ceremony. All prices include notarizing, processing, and filing of marriage license.
Do you provide chairs and/or decorations?
No. One of the beautiful things about our ceremonies is their simplicity, which transfers back to our customers in affordability. You may decorate the chosen location & bring chairs for your guests if you choose.
Where do we park?
Sunset Beach has two metered parking lots. Both are at the south end of the island along the gulf. The parking options will be reviewed during the wedding consultation.
Where on the beach will the ceremony be held?
There are several locations along Sunset Beach where the wedding can be performed. We want to ensure you have the privacy you need for your wedding & will do everything we can to ensure you have a quiet, beautiful location.
What if weather interferes with the ceremony?
In Florida, you can never predict pop-up "sun showers" on the beach. We suggest you have umbrellas along in the event rain occurs, especially during the summer season. We are a rain or shine service except in severe weather conditions.
Will you perform marriages on other beaches?
Sunset Beach is very beautiful, small, & secluded which is why this is our beach of choice. We will, however, entertain the option of performing the ceremony on other beaches upon request, and discuss the additional costs.
What about hotels & possible reception locations?
There are several hotels on Treasure Island as well as rental homes on Sunset Beach that we can recommend. The south end of Sunset Beach has a pavilion with restrooms & water that can be rented for a reception if you choose.
Do you have wedding vow options? Yes! Once you have chosen your date, we will email you with a variety of wedding vow options to choose from. Of course, we will allow for creative freedom as well as introducing your own vows.
